Israeli Beers
Maccabee:
Maccabee beer is an Israeli beer that has been brewed in Israel since 1968. It is defined as a classic beer in the original style developed in the city of PlzeĆ (Czech Republic). Maccabee contains 4.9% alcohol.
Maccabee is Israel’s number 1 export beer and is marketed in the USA and Europe. It's also tapped from the barrel in Eastern European pubs. For this reason it's also known as a "National Beer".
